If anyone out there has played Warhammer Fantasy for 10 or 20 years, I am sure they are thinking what I am thinking.
Whaaaaaaat????
Well, all things considered, life is full of change. I am used to new rules and armies that I spent forever building getting nerfed. Even a rule that just do not make sense, are part of Warhammer Fantasy history. Table Top Gamers have always been a part of the feedback loop and corrections were made to better the game. The Warhammer Fantasy game was considered part of any gathering. We were either playing or painting, talking about the game, new rules, new models and terrain ideas weekly. The whole game was a hobby and social event.
Now with some guy to the point of burning his army because the game is unrecognizable, where does that leave the rest of us. I am not going to talk about the details. I am not going to tell you it will be fine if you just get over it. You know the details. You know why you can’t just get over it.
I am going to tell you about a gathering that took place that shall be be referred to as the “Angry Dwarf Council.”
We decided to take the movements from 7th edition and the rest of the rules remain in 8th edition. Nothing beyond that was discussed and this was before Age of Sigmar, so we did not finalize anything.
I think we will reconvene soon!
